“There’s a diversity of quality original works on display and I hope they can be part of a long term exhibition that can be expanded in the near future. Some actually displayed that rare but well executed Asian identity which I find refreshing.
 
Overall I think this reflects well on the image & quality of Singapore design.
 
For a developed nation, we’re a nation with a surprising lack of identity and self esteem when it comes to aesthetics and art; from decision makers down to the masses, and I hope this exhibition together with a host of others in the Design Festival will spell the start of an awareness of good quality local design and celebrate a new chapter of confidence in the industry.”
